From Tezpur, taxis and buses cover the scenic 1.5–2 hour drive to Bhalukpong. Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, around 220–240 km away, offers wider connectivity for those flying from farther cities. By Rail: The nearest railway station is Rangapara North, about 46 km away, connected to major towns in Assam. From Rangapara, it's roughly a 45-minute drive to Bhalukpong. By Road: From Guwahati, Bhalukpong is about 220–240 km away via NH 27 to Tezpur, then onward roads, taking approximately 5–6 hours. From Tezpur, it's a shorter 52–60 km drive, taking around 1.5–2 hours through forested hills and river valleys. Most travelers combine the route with a stop at Kaziranga National Park en route via NH 37, or take state buses and shared "Sumo" taxis available from Guwahati and Tezpur.
