From Cherrapunji (Sohra), the distance is about 51 km, taking around 2 hours. The final stretch involves a mix of paved and rough roads, and the route isn't fully covered by Google Maps, so local guidance is often needed near the village. A short walk from the roadside parking area leads into the village itself. Cultural Experience: Visitors can spend time with locals to learn about Jingrwai Lawbei, listen to villagers calling out to each other with their personal tunes, walk through the surrounding forests and hills, and even visit local bee farms known for producing quality honey.
